  I would very highly recommend Teresa McAdams for family law matters and other legal needs. Teresa helped me with a prenuptial agreement and some related documents. She did a great job drafting the necessary documents, explaining every aspect of them, and also explaining the relevant law and how it would impact my agreement. She has a very direct, personable style and was just incredibly helpful throughout the process. And, also very importantly, her fees were extremely reasonable and fair.

  When I went to gain custody of my daughter, not knowing anything about court, I went to a number of lawyers from Downtown Chicago, Naperville, Aurora, etc and they all wanted me to just settle and give in so they didn't have to fight the tuff fight for me to get custody of my 4 yr daughter since I was a man. I got fed up with my old lawyer and left him and ended up working with John McAdam, who is now a judge, and Teresa McAdams. This was the best thing I ever did. To this day they haven't taken the easy way out, they listened to me, understood my importance of getting custody, educated me about the process, and helped me fight for what was the most important thing in my life. Going to court takes time and you need someone who is going to stay committed to helping you for the long run. I started with McAdams firm starting in 2009 and still work with them today. Because of their hard work and caring I have full custody of my daughter today and I owe it all to them. They gave me valuable advice and went the extra mile so I was prepared for what was to come in my court battle. And as everyone knows Lawyers are very busy and hard to get a hold of but Teresa McAdams has an exceptional paralegal Lori Flynn that is an added benefit to working with the Teresa McAdams. I Highly recommend Teresa McAdams if you want an exceptional lawyer.
